The Sara Heinz House has been here in one form or another for over 100 years. Initially established as a place that offered recreation and social programs for boys, it's now a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

This mural runs along the wall behind the Heinz House facilities. It shows all the activities that Sara Heinz House offers to the local kids in the way of sports and robotics. Yes, robotics. Since 2003 they’ve been involved in FIRST (For The Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) with a team of 7th–12th graders. It’s a national robotics competition. How’s that for cool and relevant?

Chess pieces, fishing, dancing, playing guitar

Lifting weights, reading, studying

Gymnastics, soccer, hockey, football

Robot, music, painting, push ups

Balance beam, yin yang, ballet
