We heard that this mural was in a tunnel at the USX building. After hunting all around and asking several people about it one day, we gave up and consoled ourselves with the fact that we’d discovered Challenge Pittsburgh instead – a mural that we knew nothing about at the time. Back to the internet to try to pin down a location for the Mosaic Mural and we realized our mistake. The information we had just referred to it being in a tunnel at the Steel Building. We were looking in the pedestrian tunnel that runs from inside the Steel Building to the nearby T–station. We were wrong. This mural is in an outdoor underpass that runs under Bigelow Blvd. It’s along a sidewalk in the green space behind the USX building and next to Chatham Square.
