When Total Equipment Company (TEC) moved into it’s current location in Coraopolis, they wanted to spruce up the appearance of their new building. A committee of their employees decided to accomplish that with a mural. When choosing the design, they opted to stick with what they knew and did an industrial scene that showcases some of the equipment they’ve sold. A skyline of Pittsburgh is included on the left side.
The mural is dedicated to Debra Paar, a much beloved employee who passed away before the mural could be completed. Debra had worked for the company since 1988 and was involved in planning the mural before she died of breast cancer at the young age of 39.
