The current business in this building apparently took some liberties with the mural. In its original condition, The 50's was a vibrant collage of iconic 1950's scenes with no commercial intent evident. The professional look of the mural has been compromised by amateurish scrawl. In spite of that you can still appreciate at least some of the original artwork.

A Mural of Dogs Playing Poker - artist unknown

This classic scene of dogs playing poker is on the side of a nondescript building, a bit off of the beaten path. I’ve seen a small, folding sign out front every now and then with what appears to be menu items and suspect it to be a neighborhood bar or cafe of some sort, but there’s no sign advertising that.

This mural was done for the Ambridge Water Authority. In its original condition, H2O was a rich blue with some great details of bubbles in the glass as the water splashed in. Done in oil paint, it didn't hold up well out in the elements though. It's also missing the original cut-out of a bird sitting on the faucet.
